Chalong Temple
Probably the most important temple on Phuket.
It is dedicated to 2 monks, Luangpoh Chaem and Luangpoh Chuang, who managed to stop a major Chinese rebellion over tin mining riots in 1876.
Phuket Zoo
The large collection of animals will keep young and old entertained for a whole day. Daily crocodile, monkey and elephant show.
Chalong Bay
If you are into boats, yachting or leaving on a daytrip, then this is probably one of the places to be.
Most trips to other islands, snorkeling and diving trips start from Chalong pier.
The street from Chalong circle to the pier consists mostly of diving, sailing and fishing shops.
